Downstairs Rooms

Green Room
Each guest room is uniquely different and lovely.
Immediately to the right of the hall and stairs is the front
downstairs bedroom. The colors of pale green, pink and white
give it a peaceful feeling. It has four large windows which
gives it a pleasing glow. The sink in this bathroom is
placed in an antique sideboard. The queen-size bed is
covered with a lovely quilt.
Rate - $62 per night per couple

house attendant, and Candy the owner went over and beyond to make our

Secluded Room
The second bedroom downstairs features a lovely high Eastlake wood antique double bed covered with a white spread, antique wardrobe,
and a non-working fireplace. On top of the S-curved antique dresser with mirror sits two old candle style lamps which flicker with light.

Other rooms downstairs include the large parlor with many antique furnishings, kitchen with large serving table, office featuring a beautiful fireplace mantle and early pictures of D'Hanis,
TX. There are porches, both in the front and back downstairs, where you
may sit and enjoy relaxing.
Venturing upstairs we see a wide hallway showing eight doors with original numbers above the doors, but those original
eight small rooms have now been redesigned into three large rooms with baths.

The Suite
The suite covers one-half of the upstairs. It has a larger bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub and antique ceiling fixture. On the other end of the bedroom is a sitting room with chairs and table where you can enjoy card games, etc. The bedroom has a beautiful unusual seven-piece matching antique bedroom set with fluffy comforter atop the double wood high bed.

Rustic Room
The rustic room upstairs has two double antique beds covered with antique quilts. The exterior walls in this room display the interior layer of three layers of brick which make up the outside walls. One of the interior walls is lined with boards which were originally used to divide the rooms. The sink in this bath is built into a beautiful antique sideboard.

Garden View Room
The upstairs back bedroom is a cheerful, bright room with queen-size antique bed, marble-top Eastlake dresser,
and an unusual English cabinet. The bed displays an old chenille bedspread with pastel flowers on it.

"Me and my husband stayed at this
little hotel on Dec. 10 for one night. We had the Garden View Room
upstairs. It has a queen-size bed, TV, hardwood floors with rugs and
antique furnishings. The bathroom, as do all the bathrooms at this
hotel, has a claw foot tub and hand held shower attachment. The beds
